If you'd like to edit your files in your own design software, such as Indesign, Photoshop, etc., download our business card printing templates, to make sure you edit your files correctly.
Technical specifications for editing your files
- Download our guides for optimal printing.
- Be sure to DELETE all hidden layers not intended for printing (i.e. setup guide layers or other hidden layers) to avoid any risk of them appearing on the final printout.
- Each project (including multi-page projects) must be prepared as a PDF file. Make sure all pages are the same size.
- Files must be transferred in the correct orientation for reading/orientation.
- We recommend avoiding borders in your work. If the border is too close to the cutting line, the cut may be incorrectly centered.
- The file must have a margin of error (BLEED) of 1/8″ and all elements (images and text) must be within the trim margin.
- Check that the PDF file is a high-resolution CMYK file with 300 DPI.
- Fonts with the color BLACK must have the values: C0, M0, Y0, K100.
- Integrate or outline your fonts.
- For best color results, download files in CMYK only.
File orientation refers to the orientation of the transferred graphics files. Make sure they are submitted and saved correctly to produce the desired result.
